True Love by Julia-Maria Hegenbart
Deep feelings need time to grow. With every look, every tender gesture, every gentle touch. Just as True Love is growing stitch by stitch on your needles and lovingly caresses your soul. The expressive triangular shawl by Julia-Maria Hegenbart fascinates with its geometric mosaic pattern in Edelweiss and Wood, accentuated even more by the beautiful contrast with the monochrome rib pattern in Melange Mulberry. Lose your heart to our Cheeky Merino Joy as you knit and watch the mosaic pattern blossom during blocking, revealing all its beauty - like true love.
True Love offers an interesting construction and variety for absolute knitting pleasure. You start with an asymmetrical triangle in a mosaic pattern and knit it - very easily - with just one colour per row from one tip to the opposite edge. You then pick up stitches along the far right edge of this triangle for the second part and continue knitting long rows with increases at the shawl’s tip, at the beginning and end of each right-side row. Another mosaic pattern is embedded in two sections of rib pattern in a contrasting colour. The shawl is designed so you need exactly one skein of each colour, and as little yarn as possible is left over.
The theme of our 2024 collection is inspiration. What inspires us to be inventive, to create something? Which small or big moment plants an idea in us and sets us in motion? With the names of the designs in this collection, we have tried to capture a few of these sparks. True Love awakens in us the inspiring power of deep feelings.
