Whispering Breeze by designer Valerie Ng is like a gentle breath of air that softly moves the leaves and gently caresses your skin. The sweater in Edelweiss, with three-quarter sleeves and an almost horizontal neckline, has many sophisticated details. The unique jagged stripes in Melange Drizzle are vaguely reminiscent of a visualized soundtrack, giving the otherwise classic look a modern twist. Starting from the top, you first knit the front and back yoke separately shaping the shoulders with Japanese short rows. The body knitted in the round is given stability and a beautiful drape by crocheted false seams on the inside, which also conceal the offset of the stripes. After closing the shoulder seams with a mattress stitch, you pick up stitches for the sleeves around the armholes. The length of both the sleeves and the body can be adjusted to your preferences.
