Valerie Hat & Mitts by Alison Green

The cozy Valerie hat is the perfect project to keep you warm and looking put-together throughout the colder months. Hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up in Vellina and Aerial held together, with bands of seed stitch adding pops of texture.

Needles

16” / 40 cm circular needles, sizes 6 / 4 mm and 7 / 4.5 mm or size to obtain gauge

1 set each double-pointed needles, or preferred needles for working small circumferences, size 7 / 4.5 mm

Gauge

19 sts and 30 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Pattern St on larger needles with yarns held together
