Tillie - Updated by Louisa Harding

This pattern is an update of the older Tillie design that appeared in Rowan Magazine 25 as well as the Rowan 40 years book. The yarn used and gauges have been changed in this version. There is also an expanded size range.

Yarn used:

Rowan Summerlite 4 Ply

A. 438 Sand Dune - 7(7, 7, 8, 8, 8,9, 9, 9) balls

B. 437 Seashell - 2(2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) ballls

You will need stitch holders and six small buttons

Gauge

31 stitches and 31 rows = 4 inches in Fair isle body pattern

Needle size

US 1 - 2.25 mm

US 2½ - 3.0 mm
