Redd Barna – Hat and Mittens

The patterns for these two accessories, a pair of mittens and a hat in both children and adult sizes, that we designed for REDD BARNA (Save the Children Norway), using Norwegian yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk in 2018.

Note

You can make a larger hat by using a larger needle. If you use a smaller needle size the hat will be a bit smaller.

Child (about 8 years): Length: about 22 cm/8.75”; Width: about 9.5 cm/3.75”

Adult S (L) : Length: about 25 (27) cm/9.75 (10.75)”; Width: about 10 (12) cm/4 (4.75)”

You can make a larger mitten by using a larger needle. If you use a smaller needle size the mitten will be a bit smaller. The mittens can also be felted.
