mYak Baby Yak Lace Blue Bird

A luxurious yarn worsted-spun from 100% baby yak.  Yak has a beautiful, rich depth of color, as well as a micron count (17) that is similar to cashmere.  It is truly a treat to knit gorgeous accessories, garments & wraps with this yarn.

Ethically sourced mYak fibers are purchased directly from nomadic Tibetan herders.  100% traceable & naturally soft, the yarns are spun from the finest yak & sheep wool from the Tibetan Plateau.  The yarns are then spun in traditional mills located in the foothills of the Italian Alps where no decoloring or chemical processes are taking place.  mYak yarns respect the environment, fiber & source.

Gauge:  Various.  **Lace weight yarns are usually knitted or crocheted on larger needles and hooks to create lacy, openwork patterns. Accordingly, a gauge range is difficult to determine. Always follow the gauge stated in your pattern.
