Karla by Åsa Buchta

A fresh take on a timeless cabled cardigan, Karla features a shawl collar for added sophistication and warmth. The body and sleeves are worked separately, then joined to work the raglan yoke in one piece, with stitches for the collar picked up to complete this wear-everyday look.

32” / 80 cm circular needle, sizes 7 / 4.5 mm and 9 / 5.5 mm or size to obtain gauge

1 set each double-pointed needles or preferred needles for working small circumferences, sizes 7 / 4.5 mm and 9 / 5.5 mm

12 stitch markers, including 4 distinct stitch markers for raglans, cable needle, seven ¾” / 20 mm buttons, tapestry needle, waste yarn to hold stitches

Gauge

16 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st using larger needle

21-st cable panel measures 5” / 12.5 cm wide
