Ito Washi Carrot

Remarkably light & airy, Washi is an exceptionally unique yarn spun with paper & viscose.  Made in the tradition of Japanese paper yarns, this lace delight has a structure similar to linen. 

Viscose thread is twisted around the paper fibers giving the yarn stability & durability.  It is wonderful knit alone & beautifully accentuates lace patterns.  Pair with another yarn to increase gauge or enhance with the addition of other fibers.  The modern palette of serene & festive resort colorways will inspire resort tops, wraps, scarves & saris.
