Dana Overalls by Pascuali Designs
The casual DANA overalls are worked from the legs upward. The 7/8-length legs are worked in rounds; a section above the cuffs is worked in half fisherman’s rib, then the legs continue in simple stockinette stitch. Increases are worked on the insides of the legs for the crotch. The legs are then joined together and the body of the garment is continued in rounds. The work is divided for the bib, and the front and back sides of the garment are continued in rows. Wide garter stitch panels run along the front of the garment on both sides before merging into the buttonhole band. On the back of the garment, the whole bib is worked in garter stitch, ending with the straps.
Sizes:
The sizes correspond to a body length of 37.4–38.6 (39.3–41; 41.7–43.3; 44.1–45.6)” / 95–98 (100–104; 106–110; 112–116) cm, resp. the age of approx. 2.5–3 (3.5–4; 4.5–5; 5.5–6) years.
The overalls have a very loose fit with 7/8-length legs. The generous positive ease makes for casual wearing comfort. The variable length of the straps allows the overalls to be adjusted to the size of the child so that they can be worn for a long time.
